Children love snow – it is truly made to play and frolic around! However, snow usually is a great concern for parents, no matter how much they like it themselves. Everytime the kids go outside to play, their clothes and shoes get wet and therefore they run the risk of catching a serious cold.

Cold feet are extremely unpleasant. However, in addition to that, they also make us more susceptible to catching a cold – and this especially applies to children. The warming insoles and foot supports made by pedag are the perfect winter supplement for shoes and boots.

Avoid damp shoes

Nevertheless, a warming insole alone is by far not enough to make children’s feet stay warm for a long period of time. Wildly playing in the snow, sleighing or building a snowman – this is what children love to do in winter! However, when spending hours in the snow, shoes often get badly affected by the water and the road salt, and many times snow stains come up. On the one hand these stains are often caused by road salt, on the other hand by the melted snow washing out the salts used in the tanning process of the leather.
